"Logan Szlatoszlavek is an amazing young man!

Logan arrived at St. Jude Catholic Elementary School at the beginning of Grade 7 and he immediately began to make an excellent impression on our staff and on his peers.

He is responsible, kind, thoughtful, reflective, very enterprising and most importantly, Logan is a developing leader. Logan played piano at all of our school assemblies last year, he was involved in our Catholic Creativity Club, and he was hired by our school to perform “Pomp and Circumstance” at our Grade 8 graduation ceremony.

I have been an educator for 26 years and I have learned that every once in a while we – as the adults in a school building – have the blessing of working with a truly exceptional and impressive student. A student who has empathy, kindness, developing leadership skills, loves learning, and is willing to work hard to support others and the school community. Logan is all of these things and more, and I count myself very fortunate that we at St. Jude have the opportunity to have Logan with us for two years as he completes his elementary education."
